Centre for Oncology and Immunology Limited


The long-term objective of the Centre for Oncology and Immunology is to employ novel functional screens, animal and cell models including organoids, immuno-oncology approach, as well as advanced genomic and proteomic techniques down to single cell resolution to identify novel “druggable” cancer targets for hard-to-treat malignancies. The ultimate goal is to develop therapeutics against these targets and to conduct clinical trials evaluating these drugs along with biomarkers with an eye to their eventual commercialization worldwide. Success in this venture will address pressing unmet medical needs and establish Hong Kong as a leading hub of innovative anti-cancer and immuno-oncology drug development

 

Job responsibilities:

Applications are invited for appointment as Clerk I/II (Finance & Legal) (Ref.: H03/2024/13), to commence as soon as possible, on a fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.


The appointees will join and assist the Administration and Operations team in (i) providing general administrative and clerical support for the Team; (ii) assist in the coordination to research administration including legal and operations matters; (iii) provide support in handling finance and procurement matters for the Team; (iv) provide general administrative support to the Centre’s events.

Qualifications and skills:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree/Associate Degree/Higher Diploma, Preferably with at least 1-year solid work experience in office administration within the education or health sector.


Applicants should be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and positive attitude, while being able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin); effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills (especially in Outlook, MS365, Excel, and Powerpoint) are essential. 
The appointees shall work in Hong Kong Science and Technology Park.
