Nine research laboratories established by The University of Hong Kong are admitted to the Government’s InnoHK Research Clusters

In support of the major initiative of the Hong Kong Government (InnoHK Clusters) to develop Hong Kong as a hub for global research, The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has joined forces with world-class universities all over the world to develop cutting-edge research.

There are a total of six research laboratories being established under the Health@InnoHK cluster (focusing on healthcare-related technologies) and three research laboratories being set up under the AIR@InnoHK cluster (focusing on artificial intelligence and robotics technologies).

Centre for Oncology and Immunology has been initiated by HKU under the Health@InnoHK cluster with the mission to develop therapeutics that can improve cancer patient outcomes and to launch new drugs that can combat persistent cancer diseases.
