Organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission and the Hong Kong Science Park Corporation, the InnoHK Summit 2023 was concluded with great success on 6 December 2023, attracting over 800 world class academics and scientists from Hong Kong and around the world.
Prof. Tak Mak and Prof. Suet Yi Leung, Co-Directors of the Centre for Oncology and Immunology, were invited to share the key scientific achievement of the Centre’s work to the audiences and media. Their presentation emphasized on utilizing immunotherapy approaches for various cancer treatments as well as highlighted the Centre’s goal of establishing drug testing platforms for personalized medicine, giving audiences a glimpse of what our Centre is striving to achieve.
It was an absolute joy to have our honourable overseas collaborators from the University Health Network, Toronto for joining the Summit with us this year and showing their support to the Centre. Their participation made a fantastic addition to the team and reaffirmed the importance of international research collaboration in fostering scientific advancement and paving the way forward for greater success.
With the strong focus on the theme of “From Collaborative Research to Real World Impact”, the Centre for Oncology and Immunology would like to express its unwavering commitment to promoting a collaborative culture that can bring together diverse perspectives and strengths from scientists around the world to achieve greater research outcomes.
