Professor Alan Wong, the principal investigator at the Centre for Oncology and Immunology (COI), along with his research team from HKU and COI, is proud to be awarded a Silver Medal at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (IEIG).
The award-winning project, "CombiSEAL," developed by Professor Alan Wong and the team, is a high-throughput combinatorial mutagenesis platform for protein engineering. It tackles the limitations of site-directed mutagenesis for protein engineering, offering solutions to throughput and scalability issues.
