Ms Eunis Lam Receives the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship 2024/25

The Centre for Oncology and Immunology (COI) is proud to announce that Ms. Eunis Lam, one of our PhD students from Prof. Anskar Leung’s research group, has been awarded the prestigious Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship 2024/25.
The Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund’s purpose is to provide for and encourage the education of, or research by the people of Hong Kong. This fellowship is a merit-based scholarship that aims to support the study of research postgraduate students in recognition of their academic excellence and leadership potential. Ms. Lam was awarded this Fellowship for her PhD project which focuses on targeted therapy in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). Ms. Lam expressed her gratitude, stating “I am truly honoured to receive this fellowship, which serves not only as a recognition but also provides me with invaluable support. It encourages me to delve deeper into my research, to stay passionate, and to make meaningful contributions to the field. I would like to express my gratitude to Prof. Leung for the opportunities, as well as HKU and COI for the supportive environment to pursue my research.”
